Little by little

I can’t believe in less than two weeks I’ll be starting my first real “grown-up” job. When did I get here? Not too long ago I was starting college. It’s like it was yesterday. I feel like I grew a lot these past three years yet I’m still just a child. Like that Britney Spears’ song: I’m not a girl not yet a woman(I was so addicted to that song when I was younger)! I don’t know what the future holds and I never felt so scared by not knowing but I decided not to care anymore, I’ll just do what I always do: try my best to get it done- even if I need to wing it.
I always feel hesitant about talking about personal stuff here since people who come here are looking for craft projects but all this is a huge part of me and I can’t just ignore it.
That’s what has been on my mind lately. I’m not working in too many craft projects at the moment. I’m trying to finish my girl in cross stitch and I’ve been drawing.

Meanwhile I will leave you with a photo of all the small threads that gather while I’m stitching.

When in doubt // it out

Although I’ve been saying that I’m looking for a job I don’t think I officially said this: I’VE MY BACHELORS! After 3 years I was able to pull this off. I’m really happy to finish this in the right timeline and I’m ready for what the future holds for me. I’m also scared but it’s normal.
The photo is something I did in cross stitch. As soon as I saw this geek text in cross stitch I knew I’d have to do it. I even put them in my 2012 goals so I wouldn’t forget.
Two of my goals done from my 2012 list! I’m considering putting it here soon since I didn’t want to share it in the beginning of the year.

Mom’s Birthday

April 13th, 2012 | cross stitch/ponto cruz | 0 Comments

My mom’s birthday was on the 16th but I only had the chance to photograph it a couple of days ago. I stitched a small rose for her and painted a frame. I’m not too much in love with the frame but she liked it and I left it this way.

It was something simple but I’m glad that I had chance to actually do something this year.
