Remember when I said in this post about trying to put every book I want to read or that I read somewhere everyone can see? I remembered that I created an account a while ago in GoodReads and decided to see if it’ll be enough for me. It actually is! I can list all the books I read or that I still need to read. I can review them too (I’m actually not doing it). I spent an afternoon the other day putting all the books that I’ve in my “to read list” to my account in GoodReads. It’s nice to see everything organized! Now I just need to find my list from last summer so I can add more books! Lembram-se quando disse neste post que andava a tentar por todos os livros que quero ler e que já li nalgum sítio que toda a gente pudesse ver? Lembrei-me que criei uma conta no goodreads e decidi ver se era o suficiente para mim. E é! Posso listar todos os livros que li e que quero ler. Posso dar a minha opinião sobre eles (não o vou fazer no momento). Passei uma tarde no outro dia a passar todos os livros que tinha na minha lista de “livros a ler” para a minha conta do goodreads. É bom ver tudo organizado! Agora só preciso de encontrar a minha lista do verão passado para poder adicionar os livros que li nessa altura!

And the awesome thing is that there a few widgets to use =) As soon as I can I’m going to add my To-Read Books here! E aquilo que é espectacular é que existe alguns widgets para usar =) Logo que puder acho que irei adicionar a minha lista de livros a ler aqui!
I’m not affiliated with GoodReads in any way but I think it’s an awesome site and you just definately join! Add me as a friend too if you want! (ccath) The good thing about it is that it works for everyone, if you want simple things (just a simple list basically) you can do it but if you also want the all package: reviews, bookclubs and etc, it’s also a good tool for you! Have you seen Caiti’s challenge? She’s challenging everyone to commit in reading some books during the summer! I love this idea! I rarely read much unless it’s summer because I don’t have much time (although I’ve been more sucessful to read a little bit more this year). Last year in the summer I read about 20 books! I love to account them, I know it’s not a competition but I love to write down every book I read and how many pages did it have. I love to sum all the pages in the end I’d also love to write some thoughts about each book I read but that’s just dreaming. So I just make a list of all the books I read. Já viram o desafio da Caiti? Ela está a desafiar toda a gente para ler alguns livros durante o verão! Adoro a ideia! Raramente leio muito sem ser no verão porque nunca tenho muito tempo (apesar de este ano ter feito para um esforço para ler mais durante as aulas). O ano passado durante o verão li 20 livros! Adoro contar quantos leio, não é uma questão de competição mas adoro escrever o título, o nome e o número de páginas do livro. Gosto bastante de somar quantas páginas li no final do verão Também gostaria de escrever algo sobre cada livro que leio mas isso é sonhar demasiado. Por isso faço apenas uma lista de livros que li.

Most of them are kinda of heavy (in terms of reading) so I’ll give me myself some freedom to choose lighter books. If you’ve any suggestion please comment, I’m always looking for new books to read (I’ve a huge list of books to read, I think I’ve to show you all sometime). A maioria deles são um pouco pesados (em termos de leitura) e por isso irei dar-me alguma liberdade para escolher livros menos pesados. Se tiverem alguma sugestão comentem, estou sempre à procura de novos livros para ler (tenho uma lista enorme de livros para ler, acho que terei de a mostrar um dia destes).

Today’s post is nothing related to crafts, it’s all about organization I’ve been busy with spring cleaning (not that spring but anyway) in certain rooms and I haven’t been able to craft much. So today I decided to talk about organizing t-shirts. Hoje o post não será nada relacionado com trabalhos manuais mas sim com organização Tenho estado ocupada com a limpeza geral que estamos a fazer em certos sítios e não tenho feito muitos trabalhos manuais. Por isso hoje decidi falar em organizar t-shirts.
The more efficient way (in my opinion) is to organize t-shirts by dividing the ones we use the most and the ones we use less. I organized my t-shirts in “two ways”: A forma mais eficiente (na minha opinião) de organizar t-shirts é separar aquelas que usamos mais daquelas que usamos menos. Eu organizei as minhas t-shirts de duas formas:
- First by colour, I think it looks really pretty and it’s good when we wake up with some kind of affection for a specific colour. Primeiro por cor, acho que fica super bonito e é relativamente bom quando acordamos com uma afinidade por uma determinada cor.
- And then by use, which means the ones that down below are the ones I use less. The t-shirts of the second drawer have colours that I don’t use that often. E depois por uso, ou seja, aquelas que estão em baixo são aquelas que uso menos. As t-shirts da segunda gaveta são também cores que não utilizo tanto.
The ones that you know that you didn’t use the past year it’s better to get rid of them, give them to someone that needs because the truth is that it’s only taking your space if you don’t use it. Aquelas que temos a noção que nunca utilizámos no ano anterior o melhor é dar porque a verdade é que só está a ocupar espaço.

This way it looks pretty for the eyes And since I don’t have many tanks, after taking these pictures I put the tanks in the drawers, I don’t have that many and they stay organized this way. Desta forma fica tudo mais bonito para os olhos Como também tenho poucos tops, depois de tirar as fotografias também pus os tops nestas gavetas, não tenho assim tantos e assim ficam organizados.
And to finish I recommend everyone to read “The Time Traveler’s Wife” by Audrey Niffenegger. I started it this Friday night and it was really hard to let it go and do other things. Finished it yesterday (Saturday) and I’ve to say it’s amazing. It’s basically a love story but makes you think (at least it made me think). I wanted to read since the movie premiered a few days ago (in Portugal it’ll only be available in 2010) and I wanted to see it after reading, it’s excellent! I can’t wait to watch the movie even thought it’s never the same thing. E para acabar recomendo a todos que leiam “A mulher do Viajante do tempo” por Audrey Niffenegger. Comecei a lê-lo esta Sexta-feira à noite e foi muito difícil parar de ler e fazer outras coisas. Acabei-o ontem (Sábado) e tenho de dizer que é maravilhoso. É uma história de amor mas faz-nos pensar (pelo menos a mim fez). Queria lê-lo desde que o filme estreou há uns dias atrás (em Portugal apenas estará disponível em 2010) e queria vê-lo só depois de ler, é excelente mesmo! Mal posso esperar para ver o filme apesar de nunca ser o mesmo.
